Shipping & handling

The truck arrives when your floor is ready for it

Material moves on a flatbed or a 53´dry van straight from our plant to your site. There is no distributor in the middle, which is why the crate you open is the crate we packed. Everything below is what your site superintendent needs to know before the driver pulls up.

How your order travels

  1. 01

    Delivery window

We confirm the delivery date two weeks out and call the site the day before. Tell us the access constraints — dock height, street permits, crane windows — when you place the order, not when the truck is outside.

  2. 02

    How it arrives

Flatbed or 53´dry van,, wooden crates and banded pallets. The driver is not responsible for unloading: the site supplies the equipment and the crew.

  3. 03

    Partial and phased releases

Multi-tower and phased jobs can be released floor by floor or wing by wing so you are not storing material you will not hang for two months.

  4. 04

    Container shipments

For projects outside the continental US we crate for container loading and provide the packing list and dimensions your freight forwarder needs.

What you need on site to unload

Have this staged before the truck is scheduled. A truck that cannot be unloaded within the free time on the bill of lading accrues detention against the project.

What you need on site to unload
LoadCrewMinimum equipment
Wall panel crates2 peopleForklift with 72" (6 ft) forks
Shower pan pallets2 peopleForklift with 48" forks and a pallet jack
Accessory cartons1 personHand truck

A shower pan weighs roughly 200 lb. Nothing on the truck is a two-hand carry.

Receiving and inspection

Five minutes at the tailgate is the difference between a replacement panel and an argument with a freight carrier.

  • Count the crates against the bill of lading before you sign anything.
  • Walk the load while it is still on the truck and photograph every crushed corner, tear or shifted band.
  • Write the damage on the delivery receipt. A clean signature closes the carrier's liability.
  • Open and inspect the panels within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Keep the crate labels — the project and unit number on them is how we identify a replacement.

Storage on site

Material is finished goods from the moment it leaves our plant. Store it like it is.

  • Indoors, dry, out of direct sun and away from any heat source.
  • Crates flat and off the slab on dunnage; panels stored on edge, never face down.
  • Do not stack
  • Warehouse storage past 30 days from the ready-to-ship date falls under our storage agreement.

Damage and claims

Report it fast and we replace it fast.

  • Visible damage: note it on the delivery receipt at the tailgate and send photos the same day.
  • Concealed damage: report within five business days of delivery.
  • Send the crate label, the bill of lading number and photos of the crate and the panel.
  • We confirm within two business days and put approved replacements into expedited fabrication.

Every panel and pan is cut for one specific opening, so material cannot be returned for credit. Order the overage you want with the original release, not after.

Care & maintenance

Non-porous surfaces do not need sealing, ever. They do need the right cleaner.

  • Daily: a standard non-abrasive shower cleaner, then rinse completely.
  • Weekly: warm water and a soft cloth on the joints and the pan.
  • Quarterly: a deep clean per the care sheet restores gloss on high-traffic units.
  • Never: abrasive pads, scouring powder, bleach-based scrubs or solvent cleaners.

FAQ

The questions we answer most

If yours is not here, a specialist will answer it in one business day.

General

  • It is a panel system, not individual tiles and grout. You get the look of a tiled wall as one continuous surface, with no grout lines to seal, scrub or replace, and a project measured in days rather than weeks.

  • Acrylic and fiberglass units are thin shells. Our panels and pans are solid surface all the way through, so they take commercial traffic, hold a repair and do not flex underfoot.

  • Yes. The surface is non-porous and the joints are sealed with 100% silicone, so water never reaches the substrate.

  • The surface is non-porous, so it does not absorb. Mildew has nothing to root into and common bathroom stains wipe off. There is no grout to discolour.

  • Yes. The five standard finishes cover every pattern and ship on the standard lead time. Custom colours are available on request and are quoted per project.

  • We work project by project rather than by the piece. Small residential jobs are welcome — tell us the rough openings and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

Ordering & lead times

  • Four to six weeks from approved shop drawings to the truck, depending on the size of the release. Everything is made to order, so the clock starts at approval, not at the purchase order.

  • Request one from any product page or from the contact form. We send physical finish chips so you are approving the colour in the room's own light, not on a screen.

  • No. Every wall pattern in the catalog is the same price per square foot. What changes by pattern is the available mould size, which we work out on the shop drawing.

  • Yes — most pans and surrounds are custom sizes already. Send the rough opening and the drain position and we will draw it.

  • Yes. Say it is a model room when you request the quote so we release it ahead of the main run and match the finish for the production units later.

  • No. Everything is cut for one specific opening and is not stocked, so it cannot be resold.

Shipping & handling

  • On a flatbed truck or a 53” dry van if you have a dock from our plant straight to you… in wooden crates and on banded pallets, labelled by floor and unit.

  • A forklift with 72-inch forks for wall panel crates, and a forklift with 48-inch forks plus a pallet jack for shower pans. The driver does not unload.

  • Note it on the delivery receipt before you sign, photograph it on the truck and send us the photos with the crate label and bill of lading number. Concealed damage has a five-business-day window.

  • Yes. We warehouse finished orders and release them floor by floor. Storage past 30 days from the ready-to-ship date falls under the storage agreement.

  • Yes, crated for container loading. We provide the packing list, crate dimensions and weights your freight forwarder.
